Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Plan and design ship communication systems at system level for installations and equipment
- Perform electrical design, including schematics, parts lists, cable diagrams, and unit design
- Select, size, and specify cables and connectors
- Apply design methods in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Create and maintain material master data in an ERP system (e.g., MS Business Central)
- Clarify technical details and coordinate with shipyards
Your Profile
- Completed training in electrical engineering or further qualification as a certified electrical technician, or a comparable qualification (e.g., university degree)
- Proficient in CAE tools (EPLAN and optionally Engineering Base)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and norms is a plus (e.g., VG 95218, BV 3400, IEC 60228)
- Familiarity with MIL connectors and basic knowledge of network cabling is advantageous
- Reliable, with strong communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
